The Tri-Clamp system of stainless steel piping components is designed to
provide a smooth, non-contaminating or non-corrosive environment for your product. Low
cost, compact Tri-Clamp components can be cleaned in place, they're fast and easy to take
down, provide leak-tight connections and are readily adaptable to other forms of piping.
Included in the Tri-Clamp piping and connecting system is a variety of
processing-oriented flow control components, all furnished with Tri-Clamp ends.
Tri-Clover also offers a full range of adapters to facilitate the
interconnection of Tri-Clamp fittings with I.P.S. and other end connections.
Tri-Clover Tri-Weld® and Tri-Clamp® fittings made of 316L stainless
steel are now identified with Heat Trace Numbers. The heat number is permanently marked on
the fitting's OD for ease of identification. Individual fittings fabricated of more than
one original component during manufacturing (a tee, for example) may carry multiple heat
numbers. All you have to do is specify on your order that the heat numbers are required.
All Tri-Clamp fittings with a "PC" finish or better, are
furnished capped and bagged. Each open port is capped and the fittings are individually
placed in a plastic bag which is then sealed. A label on each bag shows the fitting part
number, heat number, and the date the item was packaged. |

Standard bevel seat fittings have sanitary Acme threads. Fittings sizes
from 1" through 3" have 8 threads to the inch. Sizes 4" and larger have 6
threads to the inch. Acme threads are long wearing and simplify assembling, dismantling
and cleaning.
Pressure (PSI)*: Up to 400 PSI at 70°F, with gasket, depending upon
size.
Material: 304 and 316 Stainless Steel
Joint Connection: Hex Nut with Acme Thread
Finish: Standard finish 1"-4" fittings is polished 150 Grit ID/150 Grit OD or
equivalent (32RA). Unpolished OD available on application.
Vacuum Service: On application
*Pressure Ratings are dependent upon related components in system. |

"I" Clamp fittings and Valves were expressly designed for CIP
(Clean-In-Place) use. They meet the 3A standards where standards have been established and
have been approved for sanitation, dimension and style by committees of the International
Association of Milk Sanitarians, the USPHS, and the Dairy Industry Committee.
All sanitary fittings are furnished with polished I.D. and O.D. finish.
Cherry-Burrell designed the "I" fittings to assure joint
rigidity and a positive seal. Each joint consists of a male and female ferrule, gasket
(Teflon, Hycar or Viton) and an "I" clamp.
To assemble the joint, you simply place the gasket in the female
ferrule, insert the male ferrule, wrap the "I" Clamp around the joint and
tighten a single bolt. |

Tri-Weld fittings give processors the highest degree of corrosion
resistance and sanitation available. Their streamlined design, flush joints and butt-weld
assembly provides full, unrestricted flow for truly hygienic, permanent welded systems.
The success of a permanent welded pipeline depends on the quality of the
fittings used. Tri-Weld stainless steel fittings are manufactured to exacting
metallurgical standards. Rigid dimensional inspections assure uniform tolerances which can
assure fast assembly and reduced installation costs.
Tri-Clover Tri-Weld® fittings made of 316L stainless steel are
identified with Heat Trace Numbers. The heat number is permanently marked on the fitting's
OD for ease of identification. Individual fittings fabricated of more than one original
component during manufacturing (a tee, for example) may carry multiple heat numbers. All
you have to do is specify on your order that the heat numbers are required.
All TL Series of Tri-Weld fittings with a "PC" finish or
better, are furnished capped and bagged. Each open port is capped and the fittings are
individually placed in a plastic bag which is then sealed. A label on each bag shows the
fitting part number, heat number, and the date the item was packaged. |
